MDE Program (Dedicated Mechanism Specific for Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities).
It is a special project of the Rainforest Alliance Mexico's Forest Investment Program.
The program supports the efforts of developing countries to Reduce Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) through the full and effective participation of indigenous peoples and local communities in activities that contribute to REDD+ by promoting sustainable productive sub-projects that foster economic development and the exchange of knowledge to strengthen their capacities in the sustainable use of their territories.
Our work:
Manage the MOU website and develop content for the Project's social networks, according to the needs for its implementation and in alignment with the MOU's Participatory Communication Strategy, to contribute to the capacity building of the Project's beneficiaries and ensure the successful implementation of its Sub-Projects.
