Posto Viejos

Born in Puerto Armuelles Porto Viejos is a 100% Panamanian company that offers handcrafted products conceived to be shared with family and friends. Since its birth this family business has sought to reflect an identity somewhat unknown to locals; the port with a great historical legacy and the community of Armuelles with its cultural and gastronomic richness in Las Palmas, Panama.

Identity Strategy
The historical exploration allowed us to rescue part of the family emblem and the main symbols:

- Together with the brand, we built a discourse that could tell a story of flavor and gastronomic tradition.

- A new identity was created with a logo and graphic elements that would allow us to illustrate the essence of Puerto Armuelles.

- We developed an identity strategy to shape the new communication system and the way the brand would express the diversity of the products, their flavor and gourmet quality. 

- We work on a verbal discourse that reflects the production processes through care for the environment, multiculturalism and local flavors.


The project has been part of the Technical Assistance for the implementation of the Central American Regional Economic Integration Project (INTEC).

* The program, implemented through the Secretariat for Central American Economic Integration (SIECA) and the European Union, is part of the training of 54 companies and business organizations in the Central American region in the process of designing, using and registering trademarks to improve the positioning of their products with export potential.
