El Pedernal
The successful women of El Pedernal are a group of women who, through their work, have promoted the economic and social development of their community. They seek to identify employment opportunities and promote projects that substantially improve the living conditions of their members. They grow and process fruit, especially Acerola, which is an excellent source of vitamin C, a fruit that has boosted sustainable production within the community.
Its essence is fruity, supportive and feminine empowering.
The project has been part of the Technical Assistance for the implementation of the Central American Regional Economic Integration Project (INTEC).
* The program, implemented through the Secretariat for Central American Economic Integration (SIECA) and the European Union, is part of the training of 54 companies and business organizations in the Central American region in the process of designing, using and registering trademarks to improve the positioning of their products with export potential.
