Cocoa Costa Rica

Semillas de Sabor - Roots of our land

Years ago, a group of 27 producers in Mepastepec, Chiapas came together to form Cacao Costa Rica, a cooperative dedicated to the ethical and sustainable cultivation of Criollo cacao. The Cooperative is recognized as a leading producer of the highest quality Criollo cacao, grown and produced in an ethical and sustainable manner: free of pesticides and pest control liquids, and instead using natural ingredients that responsibly nourish the soil, with 54 hectares of protected land. This commitment to environmental conservation ensures the production of a delicious and highly nutritious superfood.

At BTQ Design, we set out to develop and design a complete brand identity and marketing strategy for Cacao Costa Rica. Through the creation of a verbal and visual discourse that highlights the brand values and enhances the commercialization of cocoa beans, we have worked closely with the cooperative in learning activities. These activities allow entrepreneurs to engage in strategic planning, adopt innovative methodologies and strengthen their businesses through a digital marketing plan and visibility strategies. In this way, we seek to establish solid connections between the community and new audiences, contributing to the sustainable growth of Cacao Costa Rica.
